Cosential’s Publisher module makes it easy to prepare targeted and accurate proposals, qualifications statements, resumes, project profiles, project lists, government forms, and other marketing collateral.

Using the Publisher module eliminates hours spent tracking down resumes, project lists, and other details which can instead be spent perfecting your winning materials.

When your project, personnel, marketing, and financial data is kept current and accurate in Cosential you simply select the information you wish to include and let Cosential do the rest.

During this three-hour, hands-on workshop, we will walk you through how to create templates in both Word and InDesign. We will troubleshoot any issues that might arise ensuring you leave with working templates and samples in your account.

*Previous attendees found it useful to bring a laptop loaded with a current version of the document(s) you wish to create templates for in the Publisher module.

Julie's Session | Visualize Your Content | Thursday, January 31st 11:00am – 12:15pm

We live in a visual world. According to research compiled by 3M Corporation, visuals are processed 60,000 times faster than text. And since 65% of people are visual learners (according to the Social Science Research Network), one of the best ways to communicate your firm’s messages is through visual content. Yet, when we respond to RFQs and RFPs, we tend to submit text-heavy documents and expect our readers to digest the content. As marketers, we need to make our submittals stand out from the competition through easy-to-understand visuals. In this session, we will learn the basic structure of infographics, discuss the tools to visualize data, and explore ways to turn your firm’s messages into compelling graphic elements.

Courtney's Session | Automation the Marketing Game Changer | Thursday, January 31st 2:15pm – 3:30pm

Marketing automation is a game changer! All our efforts in marketing should be focused on two things: winning and keeping clients. Automating what we do as marketers frees up our time and money to do those things better. Streamlining processes, automating repetitive and manual tasks and jumping off the hamster wheel is what automation is all about. We will dive into what automating marketing really looks like and how to do it successfully following specific phases. Participants in this hands-on workshop will not only learn why they should automate, they will leave wanting to automate! Every attendee will gain tangible action items to take back to the office that will increase productivity, boost efficiency and allow them the chance to spend time on the things that really matter and make them amazing marketers.
Julie's Session | Digital Lab: InDesign | Thursday, January 31st 3:45pm – 5:00pm

Many of you—I’m talking to you, marketing coordinators—were thrown into developing proposals and figuring out how to use InDesign within the constraints of unrealistic deadlines and workloads. You feel like you have wasted countless hours manually formatting submittals with design inconsistencies and alignment issues, but who has time to figure it out and find a solution? Julie Shaffer, CPSM, an Adobe Certified Expert in InDesign CC, will demonstrate her favorite quick tips for expediting your workflow and making proposal development more efficient and consistent. Bring your laptop for this session to get hands-on learning with sample files for scripts, styles, and GREP as well as hidden features and tips for easier layout and design.
